Braille Trail at Pierce College - The campus map at Los Angeles Pierce College in Woodland Hills (San Fernando Valley) indicates that there is a Braille Trail at the end of Parking Lot #2 (lower-right corner of the map). Fort MacArthur Museum - Nearly all of the Museum is accessible for handicapped persons. There are some areas that are difficult to negotiate but they are few. All of the exhibit spaces are handicapped accessible. The interior of the museum is somewhat dark. Griffith Park Observatory - The Observatory does not have ADA information posted on their website, however the map does show that the Observatory is wheelchair accessible. Parking is not permitted at the Observatory itself. All visitors must take a shuttle to get there. Advance reservations are required. All shuttles are accessible and can accommodate wheelchairs. Los Angeles Convention Center - For parking we have accessibility in the West, South, and Venice garages and there are signs posted inside the garages directing handicapped parkers to the handicapped parking spaces, the spaces are conveniently located near the lobby areas. We also have handicapped spaces available in the outside lot, at South Hall Drive, for oversize vehicles. Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) - If you are physically challenged or accompanying a guest who is physically challenged, an elevator is located immediately inside the Wilshire Boulevard entrance of LACMA East. Through our Art for All Programs, we make available auxiliary aids and services, including wheelchairs, assistive listening devices, and text versions of audio guide information for seniors, adults, and children with disabilities. Performing Arts Center - Wheelchair access, TDD info, numbers to call. Includes the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Center Theatre Group, the Los Angeles Opera and the Los Angeles Master Chorale as well as special events. The downtown complex includes the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Ahmanson Theatre.
Rose Bowl Football Game - Accessible seating is available for people who use wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, four-prong canes, or are accompanied by a service animal. East side concourse tunnels 1-11 and 28, and west side concourse tunnels 12-22 are wheelchair accessible. Please tell the ticket source that accessible seating is required. One companion ticket may be purchased for a seat next to each accessible seat. Additional members of a party cannot be seated in the accessible seating areas.
Tournament of Roses Parade - The City of Pasadena and a volunteer group coordinate three viewing areas along the Parade route that are reserved for people with disabilities. At one of the three viewing areas there is also a section with audio description for the visually impaired and another section with sign interpreters for the hearing impaired.
