Visitor agrees not to commercially use any photography or recordings in any form taken at the parks, and Visitor grants permission to the Parks and their agents to utilize Visitor's image and/or sound recordings for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity. The San Diego Zoo is centrally located, adjacent to downtown San Diego, in Balboa Park. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is located approximately 30 miles northeast of the Zoo in the city of Escondido, 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, CA 92027.

Parking at the Zoo is Free. Parking at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is not included in the price of the ticket.
Both visits must occur within 1 year of the date of purchase. Must be used by the same person on any and all days.

All tickets are non-refundable/non-returnable. We are unable to issue exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. Parking is not included in ticket price.

Re-route / Cancelled Tour Policy: The San Diego Zoo Safari Park reserves the right to re-route or cancel any tour due to inclement weather, animal health or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later Safari.
Policy for minors: Minimum age is 3 years old. Children ages 3-15 must be accompanied by a paid adult and must have proof of age. Maximum of two children per adult.
Parking: Parking is not included in the program and is paid upon arrival.

Instructions for fulfillment Behind The Scenes Safari (Admission and Parking not included)

Some walking required during tour. If anyone in your party requires the use of a wheelchair during the tour and is unable to transfer, please call the number provided after purchase on your ticket under instructions for fulfillment so we can request a wheelchair accessible cart.

For the health and safety of wildlife, service animals are not permitted on Wildlife Safaris.

Riding Requirements: Must weigh between 60 and 300 pounds and fit comfortably in harness. Weight will be verified upon arrival. Closed-toe, secure shoes required (no flip-flops).
